Thus, the organization will benefit from the performance. The individuals will also have self-confidence. Self-confidence helps an individual to give their top performance. It eliminates unnecessary fears. Therefore, they will also have the confidence to share their ideas even with their superiors.

Fear is a killer in job performance. It is ranked among the deadliest and most powerful emotions. Yet, it is also normal to have fear. A person in fear always tends to freeze, hold back, hide or escape an assignment. Fear affects both the body and mind and one experiencing fear may be seen shaking.

Most times, fear comes from a past experience, lack of experience in an assignment or even pure anxiety. Anxiety is where you are not sure of what to expect and you are not willing to find out. The other emotions are equally powerful. Anger, for instance, is characterized by antagonism towards someone or something we feel has wronged us. It pushes one to elicit negative emotions and react in ways that can be damaging.

Therefore, it is best to always endeavor to manage emotions. It all begins with self-assessment. This will open your eyes to the emotional issues you have and then you can counter them. Once you discover your emotional hitch, get to the root of it. What causes it? If you need some coaching, get it soon so that you are emotionally stable.

Emotional stability is emotional intelligence. You cannot manage yourself if your emotions are out of your control. Self-confidence is one of the best outcomes of stable emotions. People will trust you more when you are emotionally stable. Above all, your job performance will be notable and your organization will value you even more.
