When it comes to advice for life there are plenty of people out there willing to give it out. The true question will come when your days are numbered and you look back and ask yourself if you had any regrets. One way to avoid any regrets is to make sure you are truly happy through your years. In order to be truly happy you have to know what that means and how to find happiness. It basically comes down to the fact that if you want to be happy you have to choose to be happy and not cause others to be unhappy. There are plenty of people in this world who think they don't deserve this and it is simply not true. The truth is that happiness is different for every individual. You just have to find your own niche.

The first step in finding that contentment is to understand what it is that makes you smile. It will probably be different then what makes the person next to you smile and that is O. K. Relax and enjoy the fact that you are an individual and not some type of clone. Most of all, do not worry if the desires that you have are completely different than the desires of your friends and neighbors.

After you have decided what it is that makes you smile you need to start jotting down ways in which to make these things happen. You will find that as you get closer to your goal you will start to see improvements in your mood. You will feel better about yourself and your self-worth

Another advice is to surround yourself with happy people. If you sit around with negative people all day long you are going to be negative too. Don't do that. Of course if someone is in need you should be there to help but on a regular basis make sure your world is filled with positive people.

On days where something goes wrong or you are just not feeling that great don't lay in bed and feel sorry for yourself. You are the only one who can change what is going on in your life. That means get up and change the situation. Look at the situation as a move forward instead of a move backward.

Meditate on things that you enjoy. Everyday take some time for yourself and just think about the things that make you smile or have positive thoughts. This will help you to relieve your stress and help you to have a positive attitude for the rest of the day.

Make sure that you are exercising on a regular basis and that you are eating a healthy life style. There are plenty of studies that show that those who are overweight are much unhappier in life than those who live a healthy life.

In the end the best advice for life is that it is important to remember that every single one of us deserves happiness.
