Drug-free workplaces are the best places to work at. It means that you will be surrounded by people who are fresh, healthy and ready to work. When you are surrounded by people who consume drugs, it becomes hard to trust them. There are many benefits to implementing an emotional intelligence leadership training for your workplace.

It is important to take the time to educate your employees. Remember that not everyone comes from a great background and reading a policy could be a foreign language to them. It is best to have a team of people who are experienced at teaching others about what is good for them and what isn t. They are also skilled at helping staff to feel empowered and gain confidence that they can take control of their lives.

A good idea to make sure that those who are leaning toward breaking the law do not follow through is to create a room in the office which is dedicated for people who are having a bad day or need to get away even for just an hour. It is up to others to see that there is a problem and to ask the person if they can enter so they can offer their support. As you would have a team building, you can also dedicate certain days for workshops and other activities which entail professionals coming to the business to speak about their personal experienced and motivating employees to stay away of toxic products. Remember that people prefer keeping this as a secret so when you provide solutions, they are more than happy to take it and blame it on a day of no work.

You can also have regular tests done. This can be part of your policy that you can do this even without notice. This will urge staff not to try it. Even if they do use these substances, they shouldn t do it at work or just before work because it will affect their productivity. To know that you may conduct tests, it will keep them away from it when they are around the work environment.

Ask for a meeting and get their insights. You can also come with your ideas and discuss whether they think it will be successful and whether they have tried it before in the past.
