Considering the fact that the path one takes in life is never planned, there usually are moments where one is confused of the next step to take and are stuck trying to figure out the move to make. This is because it is in line with ones interests and one has a higher chance of succeeding in this field given their competent levels, owing to their talents.

The education is a very powerful tool in determining choices that people are forced to make in regards to choosing the lines of work they get into. The system has for years been seen to deprive people the freedom they need such as not getting into medical school because their grades are not up to the set mark; for this, they have to settle for a course they probably do not like.

For this, there are a lot of people who are employed just for the sake of earning a living and are not in the careers they dreamt of or were passionate about. This, as a result makes it difficult for one to give it their all and as much as they may prove to be competent.

The Canadian education system has over the past few years been seen trying to make an effort in remedying this. Some of these efforts entail constantly engaging students in career choices talks and guiding them on what to consider when making this decision, nurturing young talents and giving students the freedom to choose the subjects they want to major in.

It is crucial to understand that being confused at any stage especially career wise is normal as some people even choose to make changes in their majors even after two years in college. It is all about pursuing what one loves and if this changes with time, then one may also choose to change their mind and shift their priorities.
