As humans, there are influences present within us that urge us to do particular tasks. They might also give us an idea on what to produce. It is these influences that we talk about as our inspiration. It is our drive and motivation to ensure a task is done to its very end.
On the other hand, planning involves coming up with a set of related activities all meant towards achieving a desired objective. It is conducted while keeping in mind a desired goal. This serves to regularly remind the planner of the activities he committed to do in his future as he goes about his routine.
A true warrior is known to plan. But where does the motivation to do so come from? The happiness and contentment one derives from a life with order and organization is a good place to start. With knowledge of such benefits, and the ability to have control over his life, a true warrior will forever plan.
This is a very open secret amongst athletes as is evidenced by the tireless preparations they undergo in preparation for a completion. Mo Farah is a perfect example of this, travelling thousands of kilometers from the UK to Kenya for special training, months before he is set to compete. This however does boost his performance as a long distance runner and marathoner to champion status.
As warriors then, our activities should be in such a manner that there is always a plan in them. That we are forever moving and working to a desired goal. Our drive should be the completion of these goals as well as the improved performance our plan promises should we implement it. In so doing, we shall have become both true warriors and champions as well living happier more fruitful lives as a result.
One should also share his/her plans to close confidants as communication is very important in a warriors plan. By doing so you shall actually be pushing yourself more to stick to and implement the plan as there will be people behind you that expect you to do so. Also, by involving this close circle of friends in your plans, you are by extension showing them the extent of your love and trust in them and that it is enough for you to consider them in your plans. There will be variation in these friends circle between individuals, but it generally encompasses, business partners, family, team mates, a spouse etc.
While planning also, we should take into account the objectives. The goals are very essential in motivating the planner to keep track of his/her actions while also correcting and reviewing them over time to ensure they remain in line with what is planned. By regularly correcting and reviewing the plan and with, well defined, attainable and intelligent goals, we shall have made good plan and engrained in ourselves the spirit of actualizing it.
Last but not least, are emotions. They are another motivating factor that should encourage us to do so. The expectations we have, joy, sadness, happiness etc. Will all influence our planning. Imagine for a second, your future, what do you expect? What more can you achieve should you work harder for it? Your expectations must be building up already. Now imagine what would occur if you decided not to work harder and plan? Not a chance right?
