No matter how well you plan for the things you want to do in your life, there will always be those times when you feel like you are stuck in a rut. Perhaps it could be the stress we are experiencing at present. Or maybe its because of the unfulfilled desires and failures we experience. Sometimes you question what went wrong when you did all that you can to succeed.
Even if we prepare and plan, the end result is not ours to decide. If God does not want us to be there, then we will never be there. Its all a matter of doing the things that we think is good and then trusting the Creator to handle the rest. My spiritual life journey is marked with ups and downs. But if you have solid trust to the Author of our lives, everything will turn out as it should be.
Nurturing your spirituality is a need. Sadly, a lot of people, especially those who are busy hoarding wealth and earning money, do not see this importance. Unless one has this close relationship with God, he or she cannot expect to feel fully satisfied with what he has regardless of how much it is. Today, I will be sharing some of the ways that helped me in this daily journey. Take a look at them below.
Keeping a daily journal. It is vital that you do this every day and not just when you feel like writing something. Daily journaling will help you keep track of the activities that you did for the day, the good things that happened to you and those bad ones that you have committed. Treat it as a sort of your letter to God, baring everything you feel and think about something.
Spending minutes in silence. There is no substitute to silence when it comes to communicating with God. It is a necessity. It is only through silence that you get to hear what He has to say. With the amount of noise we experience everyday, finding a silent place and time can be difficult. But if you practice it, the rewards can be great.
Practicing a spirit of gratitude. If you are used to complaining about everything, then there is no wonder why you are attracting more of them. Thats the mechanics. The more you think about it, the more they come to your attention. Rather than complain, spend some time to thank everything that you receive. You will feel better.
Seeing the good side of anything bad. There are bad days. It is part of your life. What matters however are not those factors but how you react to them. Rather than sulk about the negatives, why not think about the better things you can see from it.
Reading the Bible. Last but the most important thing is to read the Bible. No matter how busy you are, find time to read excerpts from the Bible. Its the best way to strengthen your Faith. Plus, its great for empowering and refreshing your thoughts.
Humans do not have the superpower to change the tide of everything. Sometimes, you need to accept the reality of the negative things in order to understand how you can address it best. Trust God for everything.
