Now You Too Can Learn Your Lucid Dream Meaning

By Robert Harris

A big reason why many people get into this sort of dreaming is because of how much fun you can have doing it. When you have a lot of things to get done during the day, you might be tempted to stay up late in order to find something to do for fun. Once you are able to find out your lucid dream meaning, you might find yourself eager to hit the sheets so that you can enter into another exciting episode in your own personal dreamworld.

It is important to remember that like all things worth doing, this is something that takes a fair bit of practice. You might want to try to remember not to be discouraged if you are finding little success at this from the very beginning. After your first few attempts, you will probably start to see your ability to keep your awareness while dreaming better.

It is hard to be able to control your dreams like this when your body does not have a good sense of when you are actually going to be getting to bed. That is why keeping a regular sleep routine is so important to this process. If you are laying down at the same time and getting up and the same time, it gives your body and mind a sense of rhythm.

Giving yourself little reality checks as you go throughout your daily life can help you get better at dreaming this way. Building up the habit of testing your reality will eventually lead to you doing it in dreams. It is quite surprising when you go to look at a clock twice and find that the numbers are completely wrong.

The thing that springs to mind for so many people when they think about this kind of dreaming is the ability to manipulate and control the world around you. While this can definitely be the case, it does not always have to be. The main thing with lucidity is that you actually know that you are dreaming.

This is such a valuable opportunity to learn more about yourself. When you have to go through so many tedious tasks and keep up with responsibilities on a daily basis, little to no time is left over to sort out the self. That is what dreams are for, and they are so much more helpful when you can actually be mentally present in them.

People who have to get up early to let out the cat or dog or to use the bathroom might be able to use that to their advantage. When you go back to sleep, it is good to think of any dreams you might have been having. Once you remember them, you can then focus on them and try to revisit them if possible.

The tool that is most helpful to some dreamers is a journal. If you are able to write down what you were just dreaming about as soon as you get up, it can stop you from forgetting little details. This build up the habit of holding onto those memories, rather than letting them slip away.
