These invisible forces are said to bond humanity to their environment in a harmonious way. For people looking to apply this concept, it is advised that they use Feng Shui Bagua to balance energy flow in their spaces.

The bagua is an energy map that assists in the analysis of the space around you. It is basically a map of life that is octagonal in shape and contains all the ancient symbols as representatives for the area in your life. Its responsibility is to give effective ways to enhance the flow of spiritual energy and channel them in your life to bring unlimited prosperity. It functions by showing your current position in life and the position you want to be in future.

The eight areas are characterized by symbols, elements, and colors which determine areas of the space that are connected to areas of your life. The first area is the health and family represented by brown and green colors and the element wood. Money and abundance are another areas whose color is green and element is also wood. Another important area is career and life journey which is characterized by water as the element and blue and black colors.

Another area defined is the creativity and children section which is usually represented by the colors silver, white and gold and white and metal element. This area also symbolizes joy. Inner knowledge and wisdom is also another area represented by the colors brown and yellow and earth as its element. For those looking to have a long successful marriage, they can use the colors yellow and brown which represents love and marriage.

The desire for wisdom and inner knowledge is also one of the eight sections. It is illustrated using brown and yellow colors and the earth as the element. Finally, the eighth area is creativity and children. This area is characterized by the metal element and is assigned silver, gold and white colors.

It is important to understand the symbolism of these colors and element so as to ensure the decor in a given specific area matches the unique sectors. The energy map is superimposed on scaled -to- size the layout of your home plans. The south area is placed at the top of the layout. It is used together with a feng shui compass that allows pinpointing of the eight areas.

There are areas that might be missing in the energy map and it is important that they are adjusted accordingly for a harmonious feng shui to be created. The missing areas may cause problems to their corresponding life areas and it is important they are rectified.

There are no scientific proofs to the effectiveness of using this energy map in decorating any home or office space but there are people who believe that this connection to their surrounding has greatly aided in improving their general well-being.
