Lately there have been some studies that showed that one of the most effective methods for losing weight would be none other than self hypnosis. Many people have sworn that after they have undergone a full session, they have more heart and motivation to be able to lose some of their unwanted pounds. So if one is curious about this, here are some facts about self hypnosis for weight loss.

Now if one would want to try this out, then he should at least have an idea of what meditation is because it is pretty much the same thing. Now to start off, he should first look for a very quiet place that has no people or hardly has any noise around. Once he has already found that kind of place, then he has to make sure he sits down and relaxes.

Now if one has a hard time relaxing, one thing that he can do would be to listen to some music from his mp3 player or his Ipod. Now he will be able to find some really good and relaxing music in the internet for free. It is recommended that one would download instrumental music as it will not give the brain any work to do.

Now once that is done, then one should now focus on the way he breathes. By doing this, he will be putting himself in a somewhat meditative trance as he is breathing slowly. Now in order to do proper breathing, he has to breathe in while pushing up the stomach and then breathing out while pushing down the stomach.

After that is already done, he will now find himself in a somewhat meditative trance where he may now talk to his subconscious. In this part, he has to first visualize that there is a door in front of him that would lead to his subconscious self. Now he should imagine himself opening up this door very slowly and there being a bright light inside.

The next thing that he would be imagining would be finding a black and white version of himself on the other side. Now this black and white him is his subconscious which he should talk to. What he will do here is that he will be feeding his subconscious brain with positive thoughts about weight loss.

Now in this part, he has to be very specific with the tasks that he would want his subconscious to know. For example, if he would want to jog a certain distance per day, he should specifically state that he would want to jog this number of miles per day. From there, the subconscious would adjust the mindset of the individual.

Now after he has done that, he must now finish his little session. He has to do this by counting up to five and slowly moving the hands as well as the feet as it will help him wake up from the state. When he does wake up, he will feel a lot better and actually be more motivated to lose those pounds.
