Discover Much Concerning An Encounter With God

By Marisol Guy

Most people who had an encounter with God in the scriptures were suddenly and forever transformed. It therefore means that they felt God deeply in life and their hearts. They accepted the prompt transformation in their heart and their lifestyle as a result, so as to match up with biblical teachings of their Sovereign Lord.

When one is near God, He causes a radical transformation. You observe this all across the Scriptures, though you may not understand that God in the Scriptures is similar to the One you encounter in your daily life. This is why people constantly go the house of worship, to meet God and change their life.

His time of encountering you is not defined by you but by the creator Himself. It may be through the Scripture or pastors. All of a sudden His spirit takes living Word, and just like double-edged sword, penetrates the soul and spirit, marrow and joints, and then finally discerns the thoughts and intents in your heart. It also exposes you fully.

Once Mighty Lord has met you, you will clearly know for He will stimulate your whole being. Therefore, He has His exact timing. Lastly, the Lord comes in the fullness of spell.

The prophet Isaiah experiences Him in his book. The Great One knew exactly what the problem of Isaiah was. Therefore, He suddenly revealed Himself to the prophet, thus causing a radical spiritual change in his life. This revealing made Isaiah to accept the fact that he is sinful, and that he also lives among he unclean people. The same happens to you when you experience such revelation.

The presence and the holiness of Jehovah always expose a particular need in the life of somebody which separates him from a deeper encounter with Him. Due to that reason, Yahweh understood that the first item to deal with in Isaiah was his lips. Therefore, He touched them. This opened both the ears and purified his lips. Consequently, the prophet accepted to be guided by Him. Therefore, each experience with the Almighty Father cleanses you and allows you to spontaneously retort to His call.

Moses encountered Yahweh as he was caring for the sheep of Jethro at the base of the Mountain of Sinai. Finally, he retorted by taking off the shoes he had worn and kneeling down. This happened because Yahweh wanted to solve the problems the Israelites were facing in Egypt. Moses was consequently changed and was made a great leader. This indicates that once you know this, divine changes happen to your life that makes you to feel like serving the Almighty King always.

Meeting the Lord in life can occur by frequent meditations. Reflecting about your life, your past experiences and your needs also gives you an opportunity to encounter Jesus. When read the scriptures, you deeply feel Him touch you heart.

An encounter with God is just not a simple activity. It needs you to be ever ready to accept Jehovah as the sole redeemer and provider for your life. This ought to be followed with the change in your life and heart, in a away which constantly pleases Him.
