The Apostle Paul Teachings In Summary

By George Turner

When Christ was in the world, many people were against him, and his teachings and they ended up persecuting him in the long run. However, he left disciples and apostles to carry out his work. Paul was one of them, but before he acknowledged Christ, he was a widely known persecutor of the Christian faith. The article discusses some of the apostle Paul teachings after he was reformed.

First, he declared in the book of Romans that he was not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. This should be a reminder to us that we should deny Christ in front of men. Rather, we should be proud that he has chosen us to carry out his duties on earth and spread his good news throughout all the nations. He further goes to say that he was not taught the gospel, but it was revealed to him by Christ.

He taught that there only exists one faith, one lord, and one baptism. This means that all the others that people created for themselves are wrong. There is one God and one Father for all. This is true as you have to acknowledge Christ as the son of God in order to get into heaven. Christ was sent to teach about all the good things God has in store for us in heaven.

Another lesson, is that we are not just another one of Gods creation and we were created for a purpose. He did not just create us to worship Him but to be His children too. This is confirmed when we learn that we are heirs together with Christ. We will get to inherit the kingdom and live in it together for all eternity.

He also taught about the resurrection. Christ resurrected from the dead on the third day, and this is symbolized through baptism. To many, baptism is a way in which all of our sins are washed away. It is also a symbol of the death and resurrection of Christ. So you die with him when you are submerged in the water, and you rise from the dead as you come out of the water.

Another thing we learn is the unity of faith. This means that faith should be the common factor that brings all of the Christians together at all times. Faith in God should bring Christians together to achieve the one thing they all aspire to. This is leading a fulfilling life as the one Christ did and get rewarded by going to heaven at the end of their lives.

Our God is peaceful and does not bring confusion. As Christians we only one belief system, this is the one that includes Christ. Paul insists that we just take heed to those people that are preaching about the gospel of Christ. Those that talk about religions that exclude Christ are meant to confuse us, and we should not concentrate on such.

He insisted that Christians fight the good fight of faith. This is not a physical fight but rather a spiritual one. This means fighting regarding prayer to keep all away everything that may attack you spiritually.
